To effectively and safely respond you need immediate and accurate information to know if there is a ongoing presence of  enemy combatants or a continuing danger from residual threats such as chemical, viral or radiation sources on site. The TAG-M65 or TAG-M80 unmanned aerial vehicles can be quickly deployed in minutes from a vehicle or nearby location and fly in for a close visual inspection and  measurement or analysis of potential airborne threats without any risk to personnel. Equipped with video, thermal or IR cameras and the appropriate sensory receptors the UAV's can transmit the data back to you or collect samples for further analysis at your mobile lab. A thermally equipped TAG UAV also provides an effective way of locating people that may be trapped and contained within the debris or structures and can facilitate those extra life-saving minutes in the rescue cycle. Local, state and federal officials also need a timely assessment of the complete area to determine what resources are needed and to what extent to deploy them.  By flying their assigned grids, several TAG UAVs can map out and permanently record even hundreds of square miles from a low level providing an extremely detailed image of the entire location or area for immediate and future reference. Law enforcement may need a permanent record of the location and all movement of vehicles and people inside their perimeter.  While this could be accomplished with their existing helicopters, these should be free to respond to situations requiring human intervention and decision making. As learned on 9/11, communications can be a major problem in effective response.  In a multi-agency call out or in severe terrain, communications quickly become a very critical issue.  In less than 10 minutes a single TAG UAV can be deployed to hover at an appropriate altitude as a temporary repeater station for the entire area providing many square miles of uninterrupted signal capability.
