Equipped with a gyro-stabilized EO / IR sensing system, TAG UAVs can support or enhance existing inspection regimes by approaching vessels as they enter coastal waters and looking them over for signs of suspicious or unauthorized cargo or crew activity. Highly fuel efficient, these UAVs can loiter in the area of a target of interest for long periods before being directed to another search area, transmitting real-time imagery to a ground control station via data link.  With airframes constructed of a lightweight composite material, TAG UAVs are virtually impervious to the corrosive effects of a marine environment, making them well suited to shipboard or coastal operations.
