This capability makes TAG UAVs ideal for missions requiring sensors to be placed on land or in the water, and later retrieved for repair or battery replacement. Assisted by a GPS-based internal navigation system, these UAVs can be precisely maneuvered to a drop location, hover in place for long periods, and then quickly climb out of the drop zone.
