Autonomous or Human Controlled Search Patterns

When a small plane crashes in a remote area, or a fishing boat is lost at sea, search and rescue (SAR) teams must scramble every available resource to scan vast areas for evidence of victims or wreckage.

With a range in excess of 500 km (310 miles), a TAG UAV can stay on station for hours at a time, acting as a SAR force multiplier.

Equipped with a gyro-stabilized EO / IR sensor system, these unmanned VTOL aircraft can be programmed to fly precisely defined search patterns, transmitting real-time imagery back to a command post via data link.

When survivors are located, the UAV can reconnoiter possible landing zones and provide precise navigation coordinates to first responders.

TAG UAVs can also serve as flying communications repeaters, expanding the range and effectiveness of SAR communications services.
