- TAG now offers a low cost UAV training helicopter for buyers that wish to learn how to fly unmanned craft at a greatly reduced cost or for career minded individuals that wish to transition from RC models to high powered, heavier craft.
- This helicopter is professionally built to aerospace standards and includes a premium engine and fuel system, superior electronics systems, dual redundant controls, data telemetry system, flight recorder and an advanced radio system. The UAVT is delivered as a complete ready to fly system after having been balanced, tuned and thoroughly flight tested at the factory by professional pilots.
- The UAVT is an excellent platform to build hours on for low time VTOL UAV pilots as it's flight characteristics, handling and response are quite similar to the "C" or "M" series UAVs.
- The UAV Flight Trainer can also be leased if you have placed a factory order for a TAG-M or TAG-C series helicopter. This enables your pilots to train while your UAV is in production. An optional lease or discounted purchase can continue on after delivery of your UAV so you may keep the UAVT as an ongoing practice and learning platform.

TAG offers both initial and recurrent flight training for all it's aircraft in both a scheduled class structure at our flight training center or as a customized client-site school. The UAV flight school for the VTOL UAVs mirrors any other flight training system and is built upon a solid foundation of aerodynamics, communications, meteorology as well as flight operations and practices. Students with existing ratings in fixed wing or rotor craft will initially be at an advantage and may be able to advance quickly through the initial phases of ground school. In addition to the regular UAV type certification, there are several operational or mission specific add-on classes an advanced student may want to obtain. As an example, these pertain to specialized training for applications such as search and rescue, high altitude operations, military or law enforcement tactical ops, inspection technologies, fire suppression and night operations.
