Safety is a first priority in the development and design of all TAG aircraft and we offer several safety enhancements to control or recover your aircraft should some unforeseeable event happen.

TAG aircraft are professionally built and factory certified by FAA qualified A&P technicians and then test flown by qualified licensed pilots to ensure maximum safety is "built in" at every phase. Full documentation is provided at delivery with every aircraft as well as all flight and mechanical logs.

Several additional safety enhancements are available as options such as:

FailSafe Auto Hover™: If aircraft control or link is lost you can program your system to hover in place or to continue in small, medium or large circular patterns. If signal is regained it can continue operation and if not will hover until you can correct the problem on the ground or reconnect again.

FailSafe Auto Decent: Should your aircraft lose telemetry, run low on fuel or sense* any other condition that may indicate impending failure or mechanical disruption, the helicopter can safely begin a slow decent until reaching a surface below. When within 10mtr decent will slow even further and onboard sensors will keep the helicopter from making contact with most larger ground obstructions. Although this basic system can not sense overhead wires it will bring the aircraft safely within several feet of the ground an allow for a medium to light impact landing. The system is user programmable to input appropriate settings for your use such as setting a time limit on telemetry loss or the exact low fuel point in which to transition to this mode.

* requires aircraft configured with the onboard Pentium flight control system computer which allows it to monitor many additional conditions in mechanical, flight and electrical systems.

FailSafe Base Return: Your aircraft can be programmed to return to base or any other preprogrammed coordinate should it meet certain criteria you set such as low fuel, mechanical problems or a predetermined time period.

FailSafe Parachute Recovery: In case of a critical failure and the aircraft can no longer fly or be controlled a tail mounted parachute can be fully deployed in as little as 30ft-50ft of elevation and safely bring the aircraft gently back to the surface. This procedure also cuts the engine and locks the rotors to provide even further safety for both the aircraft and anything in it's path on the ground. Using this procedure a full and safe recovery is anticipated with possible minor nose damage to the cowling only. Such a landing should have no consequences for the rest of the aircraft or it's payload.
